Outfit {Balmain inspired}

This is a quick outfit shot in Vegas over the weekend. Since being in Vegas I felt alittle glimmer of gold was in order. One of my favorite looks from the 2010 Fall collections was probably Balmain. Leopard, leather and brocade. Glorious.

So when I saw this knock-off gem at H&M I didn't think twice! It looks divine with some leather pants (this was actually my New Years look) but I wanted to tone it down alittle to make it more day appropriate. Paired it with this awesome t-shirt I found at a boutique downtown called The Crack Gallery. The designer is a local downtowner that makes all his shirts by hand. All one of a kind! He had some great ones too! A Gucci, YSL and LOTS of Chanel inspired. This one spoke to me most. Paired it with some jeans and my suede over the knee boots and I was ready for errands and took it into the night time hours for some cocktails.

Blazer - H&M
Top - Crack boutique
Jeans - Paige
Over the Knee Boots - Urban Outfitter
Bag - Zara
Sunnies - YSL
Necklace - House of Harlow
Other Jewelry - Vintage

My Style 3-Way {Power Skirt}

Here is the second part of the BCBG shoot. This one was based around the "power skirt" or better know as the Bandage Skirt. Though I normally wouldn't wear this as I'm not a fan of tight clothing (particularly around the mid section), this little gem does wonders! What do you think?

All products used the same as last seen here My Style 3-Way Leather Pants.

Exception - On Natalie (Left), used MAC Blanc Type to lighten up the taupe used to create the smokey eye earlier, MAC Cantaloupe blush to create more flush, and MAC Viva Glam V for alittle more color on the lip.

My Style 3-Way {Leather Pant}

Earlier this month I posted a sneaky peaky at a shoot I did for The Style Network (seen here). This was for My Style 3-way with Sydne Summer of http://www.thinkthrufashion.com/. This segment was based around the leather pant trend (mine were last seen here), and how you can wear it 3 different ways. Work, weekend and a night out. We shot at the BCBG on Robertson in the LAh, so all clothing was compliments of BCBG. Take a peak!

Products used (on Sydne, right):

Face:
MAC Face and Body foundation in C2 and N1, MAC Pressed Powder in NC25, MAC Prolongwear concealor in NW20, and MAC Mineralized Pressed Powder in Medium Deep as bronzer

Cheeks:
Chanel Reflex

Eyes:
I used the Chanel Fascinations quad, which I think they discontinued. I'll write the duplicates for these products next to the actual ones used
Base/primer - Lancome colour dose in Sable Trinidad
Lid - The light pink color in the quad (MAC Pink Freeze or Yogurt)
Crease - the maroon color in the quad with the black color in the outer 3/4 to deepen the shade (MAC Blackberry, Urban Decay Last Call and Stila Pigalle or maybe Jezebel for the maroon color, MAC Black Tied, Urban decay Oil Slick or Stila Ebony for the black color). Also used a tiny amount of the black color and smudged it in lower lash line
Browbone - The light yellow shade in the quad (MAC Dazzlelight is very close to this or Stila Starlight would be pretty if you wanted it more beige) I also used this in the inner corners of the eye
Liner - MAC Blacktrack Fluidline (top), MAC Graphic Brown fluidline for water line (limited, but have been told Bobbi Brown Chocolate Shimmer gel liner is a VERY close duplicate)
Brows - MAC Chocolate Brown shadow
Lashes - Loreal Lashout mascara and Ardel Demi Wispies falselashes

Lips:
Liner - MAC Cedar
Lipstick - MAC Roleplay (limited but MAC Viva Glam V or VI are REALLY close)
Gloss - YSL Lisse gloss in #11, I dont believe they make this anymore but the Golden gloss in #3 Golden pink is very close, also recommend Golden Praline
